ENDOCON 2026 Organizing Committee offers a robust and dynamic scientific program with multiple presentation formats, empowering participants to present their research with maximum visibility and impact.

ABSTRACT CATEGORIES: -

1. Plenary Sessions - (open to SGEI members only)
2. Young Investigator Awards (YIA)- (presenting author must be under 45 years of age)
3. Oral Paper Presentations
4. E-Poster Presentations
5. Endoscopy – Video Digest Session, a highly engaging and impactful format for showcasing procedural expertise

1. Plenary Sessions

Eligibility: SGEI members only

Guidelines: -
1. Case reports will not be accepted
2. Submission of the complete manuscript is mandatory
3. The manuscript must include the abstract, figures and tables
4. The complete manuscript should be uploaded as a single PDF file
5. Abstracts submitted without the full manuscript upload will be automatically rejected for the Plenary Session

2. Young Investigator Awards (YIA) Session

Eligibility: Presenting author must be under 45 years of age

Guidelines: -
1. Case reports will not be accepted
2. Submission of the complete manuscript is mandatory
3. The manuscript must include the abstract, figures and tables
4. The complete manuscript should be uploaded as a single PDF file
5. Abstracts submitted without the full manuscript upload will be automatically rejected for the Young Investigator Session

3. Oral Paper Presentations

Guidelines: -
1. Abstracts must be based on original, high-quality scientific research
2. Submissions will be rigorously reviewed by the Scientific Committee for originality, relevance and scientific merit
3. Selected abstracts will be assigned for oral presentation in designated scientific sessions
4. Presentation guidelines, format and allotted time will be communicated upon acceptance
5. The presenting author must complete conference registration to be eligible to present the paper

4. E-Poster Presentations – Showcase Your Research with Maximum Impact

E-Poster Presentations at ENDOCON 2026 provide a modern, interactive platform to present your research to leading experts in the field. This format is designed to highlight key findings, stimulate discussion and enhance the visibility of your work among peers and decision-makers.

Who Can Submit:
1. Open to all researchers submitting original, high-quality scientific work.
2. Case reports may be considered only if indicated in the session criteria.

Submission Requirements:
1. Abstracts must reflect original scientific research of significant quality.
2. Submit your E-Poster as a single Word file, including:
(I.) Title and authors with affiliations
(II.) Structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
(III.) Figures, tables and relevant visual content to support your findings

3. All submissions will undergo rigorous review by the Scientific Committee for originality, relevance and scientific merit.

Design & Formatting Guidelines:
1. Recommended Size: A0 (portrait orientation)
2. Font: Clear and legible (minimum 24 pt for body text)
3. Content: Focus on concise, high-impact information; avoid overcrowding
4. Visuals: Use high-resolution images, graphs and tables to enhance clarity and engagement.

Presentation & Engagement:
1. Accepted E-Posters will be displayed on digital screens during designated halls.
2. Presenting authors are encouraged to actively engage with attendees, discuss findings and answer questions.
3. Detailed display and interaction guidelines will be provided upon acceptance.

Key Notes:
1. The presenting author must register for the conference to be eligible for presentation.
2. Incomplete submissions or Word File not adhering to guidelines may be rejected.

5. Endoscopy – Video Digest Session: Submission Guidelines

We welcome high-quality educational and scientific videos for the Endoscopy – Video Digest Session. To ensure clarity, impact and relevance, all submissions must adhere to the following criteria:

1. Introduction

Each video should begin with a clear and concise introduction that includes:

1. Background & Relevance: Explain why this case or technique is important for doctors or researchers.
2. Objectives: Clearly say what the video aims to teach or show.
3. Rationale: Describe why this method or approach was chosen and how it helps.

2. Novel Techniques

1. Justification: Explain why this method was selected.
2. Alternatives: Briefly describe other techniques and why they were not selected.

3. High-Quality Video

1. Ensure visuals are sharp, stable and well-lit. Clearly demonstrating the technique, findings or outcomes.
2. Avoid shaking, poor resolution or artifacts, as these may lead to rejection.
3. Use diagrams, labels or annotations to highlight key points for understanding complex concepts.

4. Clear Summary

1. Key Findings & Outcomes: Highlight main observations and results.
2. Clinical Relevance: Explain implications for current or future practice.

5. Disclosures

All authors must declare conflicts of interest or financial disclosures.

6. English Narration

1. Speak clearly and at a moderate pace.
2. Narration should guide viewers smoothly through the procedure or findings.

Think of your submission as a teaching tool—your audience should be able to understand the significance, learn the technique and appreciate the clinical relevance even without prior exposure to the case.

General Abstract Submission Guidelines – ENDOCON 2026

Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

Language & Format:
1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. The abstract body must not exceed 300 words. The online submission system will not accept longer abstracts.
3. Abstracts should be checked carefully for spelling and grammar prior to submission; submissions will be published exactly as received.

File Requirements:
1. Upload the complete abstract in .doc format, including:
(a.) Title*
(b.) Authors*
(c.) Institution*
(d.) Abstract*

2. Abstract title should be in sentence case and must not contain abbreviations.
3. Provide 3–4 keywords in alphabetical order.
4. References must be numbered consecutively and formatted according to journal standards:
(a.) List all authors if ≤6; if >6, list first three followed by et al.
(b.) Include article title, abbreviated journal title, year, volume and page numbers.
(c.) Example: Guzman-Prado Y, Samson O, Segal JP, Limdi JK, Hayee B. Vitamin D therapy in adults with inflammatory bowel disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis. Inflamm Bowel Dis. 2020;26:1819–30.

Authors & Roles:
1. Submitting author: Receives all communications.
2. Presenting author: Presents at the conference. Must be register and pay registration fees.
3. Co-authors: Endorse scientific content.
4. Enter full names (First, Middle, Last) with capitalization of first letters.
5. Declare all financial or other conflicts of interest.

Technical Guidelines:
1. Account creation is mandatory to submit an abstract.
2. Mandatory fields (*) must be completed.
3. Check the abstract preview carefully before submission.
4. Abstracts cannot be edited after submission closure.
5. Avoid opening the submission system on multiple devices simultaneously.
6. Confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.
7. Abstracts can be revised online until May 31, 2026.

Important Note:
Acceptance by the Scientific Committee does not guarantee permission to be present. Presenting authors must register and pay registration fees to attend and present at the conference.
